1 Corinthians 2:9

It’s amazing to be in a room filled with equal parts joy and sadness. To be laughing at memories one second and crying at loss the next. To know that a last breath is drawing near and that soon Jesus’ face will be seen. My grandpa, right now, is in the presence of Jesus. For the rest of eternity, He gets to worship at His feet. Just a few short hours ago we were speaking Scripture to Him, playing How Great Thou Art, praying for comfort, and telling Him that soon he would be reunited with my grandma in His forever home of heaven. He’s already so missed. His laugh, his crazy stories, his pranks, his tight hugs with a kiss on the lips, his great love and pride for his family, but mostly, we’re filled with joy that He can breathe without suffering and that He gets to spend the rest of His days with His Savior, and that we get to see him again one day. We can’t even begin to imagine my grandpa’s reality right now!!
Thank you Jesus, for your saving grace. Thank you that You conquered death and gave us eternal life. This life is fleeting. It passes by so fast. Please know that God so loved YOU. That God sent His son to save YOU. That God wants to give YOU eternal life.
““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‬
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.””
