1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
I love this Bible verse. God cares for me. Me? Why do I so often feel like He doesn’t? I am thankful we walk by faith and not sight. We are not to rely on how we feel but rather upon what God’s word tells us.
God saved my soul. He has redeemed me by His blood. Of course, He cares for me. If the Lord did the greater, then it is nothing for Him to do the lesser. He is there to care for all my needs, anxieties, and fears. He knows what my needs are before I even ask Him. Yet He wants me to come to Him each time and tell Him about my cares and concerns. I do not know why but when everything is going great I just don’t seem to draw near to Him. I also do not share my needs with Him as I do when I am in a trial or having difficulties in my life.
Perhaps that’s one of the reasons He allows us to have these needs and concerns. I have learned that Jesus loves me so much that He wants me to have fellowship with Him and be close to Him. God cares for us. He says to cast all our cares upon Him. They can be big, medium, or small. He wants us to stay near Him, and He delights to meet our needs no matter how big or how small they are.
