The Lord wants us to grow to love and serve Him through the teaching of the Bible. Our purpose in ministering to the children at Calvary Visalia Church is to support the parents not only in bringing their children to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, but discipling them, as well.

It is our desire for our Children’s Ministry to come alongside parents in bringing their children to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The book of Colossians, chapter 1 verse 18 tells us that He must be pre-eminent in all things. This means thinking His thoughts, following His example, hearing His Word, and doing His will. This is clearly confirmed in passages such as Romans 8:29. God has chosen us to be “conformed to the likeness of His Son…,” and in Colossians 3:10, Paul tells us we have to “put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.”
